Executive Summary:   This course was designed to offer in-person, instructor-led training. Participants would work within a simulation sandbox and practice tasks using the UKG Workforce Management platform. The course was limited to 15 learners to ensure that the instructor could effectively meet the needs of the participants. This course was exclusively available in Minnesota to accommodate a larger region and more in-person learners. 

Challenge:  When creating an instructor-led training program for use by other facilitators in a platform simulation, it is important to consider the potential challenges. One challenge is determining the types of errors that learners could encounter or miscommunications that may arise. Additionally, it's crucial to enable the facilitators to encourage learners to use the provided job aids instead of becoming overly dependent on the facilitator for support.

Solution: To create this instructor-led training, scenarios were used to pace the learners differently, allowing the facilitator to assist them while redirecting them to the job aids and tools provided. Another tool used was a list of potential learner errors to help prepare the facilitator for possible challenges during the training presentation.

Results:  The feedback from the in-person training showed that the learner felt more confident with the platform and the process. Other feedback supported using the job aids and other training resources that they took back to their position.
