Project Title: Renting You First Apartment 101
Tools used in Development: Articulate Rise, Canva, PowerPoint
Time in Development: 4 Weeks
Client: Desert Living
Collaborators: Erica Weisser
Executive Summary: The project aimed to create an interactive course for first-time apartment renters. The company believed that by engaging with the course, learners would better understand the process and be more likely to return to the company for business.
Challenge: The challenge was to develop content that not only informed and engaged the learners but also allowed them to contemplate and process new questions. It was essential to acknowledge that many learners might only complete part of the course.
Solution: The course is designed so learners can choose the sections they are interested in or start at any point and then move to any other section they want. Resources are provided to help learners take the next steps, such as applying for an apartment, creating a budget, and completing the steps outlined in the course.
Results: This course was not tracked, so there is no completion or feedback data. However, potential renters have been coming in with copies of their budgets or applications that they printed from this course.
